The College of Charleston will be hosting the 2024 SCAS/SCJAS Annual Meeting and looks forward to welcoming you to their campus on March 23th.  Details of this year’s meeting can be found below.

Plenary Speaker:

Dr. R. Clinton Webb

R. Clinton Webb graduated from the Southern Illinois University, in 1971, and received his Ph.D. in Anatomy from the University of Iowa in 1976. After postdoctoral training at the University of Michigan and the Universitaire Instelling Antwerpen, he joined the faculty of the Department of Physiology, University of Michigan in 1979, reaching full Professor in 1989. In 1999, he joined the faculty at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University where he was the Herbert S. Kupperman Chair in Cardiovascular Disease and Regents’ Professor in the Department of Physiology.

In 2020, Dr. Webb was appointed Professor of Cell Biology and Anatomy and Director of the Cardiovascular Translational Research Center at the University of South Carolina. He is a faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the College of Engineering and Computing where he holds the title, South Carolina Center of Economic Excellence (CoEE) SmartState Endowed Chair in Biofabrication.

Registration and Payment Deadline*: March 8, 2024

SCJAS (Junior)

  • Annual Meeting registration students presenting research – $35 (includes registration and student membership)
  • Annual Meeting registration non-presenting students/teachers/parents – $25

SCAS (Senior):

  • Annual Meeting registration students presenting research – $35 (includes registration and student membership)
  • Annual Meeting registration non-presenting attendee – $35

SCAS (Senior) PROFESSIONALS:

  • Annual Membership Dues – $40.00
